STAFF

Kathy Borlik (Office Manager/Secretary)
Mrs. Borlik started with Lincoln and Long on an intern program in 2000. She was hired full time after the program ended and has been an integral part of L & L’s success ever since. Kathy does everything administrative for us including reception, scheduling, project management, billing, payroll, research, report preparation and more. Mostly, Kathy keeps everyone in the office in line!

Travis Roberts, PE (Project Engineer)
Travis started working at Lincoln and Long as an assistant engineer in 2002. As a civil engineering graduate (Bachelor of Science) from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, Mr. Roberts has trained under a number of engineers and earned his professional licensure in 2005. His specialty is structural engineering and has a special knack for code interpretation and retrofit creativity.

Ramjun Eitel (Assistant Engineer)
Ramjun (Jep) earned a mathematics degree in Thailand and came to the U.S. in 2000 to intern with Lincoln and Long. Since, she has graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from California State University Chico and now serves as an Assistant Engineer in a multitude of disciplines. She’s a great golfer also!

John Deluca
(Surveying and Field Technician)
John has worked with Lincoln and Long in one capacity or another for over 15 years. He also had a stint with CALTRANS and is very experienced in boundary, topographic, and construction surveying. Currently, John is studying for his LSIT and performs field surveying and soils testing for Lincoln and Long. He is also knowledgeable in the hand-drafting preparation of Grading Plans when the need arises.

Ian O’Brien (Designer/Drafting)
Ian joined Lincoln and Long in 2003 after working for a number of years in the mechanical engineering field. He serves as Lincoln and Long’s resident computer expert and has extensive knowledge in all facets of Civil Engineering as a designer and engineering technician, including structural engineering, civil improvement design, hydrology, and more. Ian is also qualified to do Title 24 energy calcs.

Mike Griffith (Radiation Safety Officer / Designer / Drafting / Field Technician)
In 2002, Mike walked into Lincoln and Long looking for a job, but had no experience with computer drafting nor computers in general. After numerous requests, his persistence paid off and was offered a drafting position. With little training and much motivation, Mike is now a great CAD operator and has designed well over 300 civil improvement and grading plans. He also has his Hazmat and Nuclear Gauge certifications.

Juan Browne (Designer / Drafting / Field Technician / Pilot / Musician)
Mr. Brown works with Lincoln and Long part time and is primarily a First Officer with American Airlines. Juan is experienced in structural engineering and design and is also Hazmat and Nuclear Gauge certified. When L&L is required to do a site inspection or observation far from the main office, Juan flies his 4-seat Bonanza and conducts the inspection, often saving our clients time and money. He also plays a mean stand-up bass!

Trina Fellner (Designer/Drafting)
Trina has worked in the Civil Engineering field since 1984, back in the hand-drafting days! Upon her arrival at Lincoln and Long in 2006, her experience in CAD and Design has helped in the completion of subdivision planning, road design, and grading projects.

Jonathan Lyerly (Field Technician/ Drafting / Musician)
Jonathan, otherwise known as “Elvis,” recently started training with L&L as a house designer and field technician. He is Hazmat and Nuclear Gauge certified and is essential to the introduction of Lincoln and Long’s newest service, Geotechnical Investigations. Elvis is an awesome fiddle and guitar player. He and Juan play in a hot, local bluegrass band called “Ragged but Right.”

Jeff Carroll (Field Technician / Student Intern / Eagle Scout)
Jeff is currently pursuing his Architectural Engineering degree at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. During the summer and fall breaks, Jeff helps L&L with soils testing, drafting, and structural engineering. He is also Hazmat and Nuclear Gauge certified and a very fast learner. Jeff is also an Eagle Scout!
